Women..Such picky bitches...

A friend of mine has been whining about how some guys have been annoying the crap out of her while "trying to get to know her better".

Constant SMSes and calls.

"Has anyone told you that you have such beautiful eyes?"

"I remember that when we were dancing; you moved very well."

He says this, when the fact is she met him at a club just a weekend ago and it was extremely dark to "appreciate anyone's eyes" and she didn't remember dancing with him at all.

Come on girls say it with me.. Cringe cringe.

I know I'm going to get some angry retorts from the males. "Why are you women so hard to please? If we make too much contact, we're too eager or desperate. And if we don't bother, we're a bunch of assholes. Whether we men message and call or not, we're still not going to get credit for it either way".

Maybe you guys are right, but I think it is more fun when men don't play it too easy. It is extremely sad but yes... everything is a game and have rules. When it's too easy we just lose interest. Fast. With luck, this phase only lasts at the initial stage whereby everything is purely based on physical attraction.

Sometimes I wish everything was just more straightforward and honest instead of just judging the opposite sex on anything so petty and superficial. We are such shallow and picky people (you men are not excluded) aren't we? But considering we live in a world where looking good is constantly drilled into our heads.. Just look at the magazines, MTV, Hollywood, plastic surgery.... Where a world is obsessed with being thin, having killer six pack abs and delts, earning enough money to own classy shag pads, drive the latest Merc model, owning the latest designer handbags... I can't blame my friend in Penang when he credits his bachelorhood to the fact that "90% of the girls in Penang seriously cannot make it".
